Play will be 5 rounds of 6 hands. Chicago scoring

3 rounds played in the morning, lunch, 2 rounds after lunch..

SPECIAL MARATHON BRIDGE EVENT

The Sun City Grand Bridge Club invites members to participate in a
special Marathon Bridge event on January 29, 2027. This is a one-
day event. Marathon bridge guidelines apply and Chicago scoring used.

Sign-up opens October 19, 2026; closes November 20, 2026.
Sign-up as a TEAM of two players.
Maximum 64 players / 32 Teams / 16 tables
(minimum 9 tables/36 players to hold event)
$15 per person, ($30.00 per team)
Must be a member of Sun City Grand Bridge Club with club dues
paid for 2027. Dues envelopes available October 5, 2026.
Time: 9:00 a.m. start/Check-in 8:30 a.m.

Lunch break 12 noon – 12:55 p.m. (Bring your own lunch)

1:00 p.m. resume play until 5:00 p.m.
5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Appetizers/Beverages &  Winners

Awards
Awards: Winners based on total cumulative scores of all rounds
played January 29. Total number of rounds and timed
play will be determined by number of players who sign up.

We offer Social games with Contract and Chicago scoring, Monday-Friday, for Grand Residents. Your CAM card must be shown. 

Prospective members are allowed to play 3 times to determine their interest in the club. 

Click the Social Game tab on the Menu for specific games and times and see the 'Calendar'  for dates and times.

WEDNESDAY MORNING BRIDGE MENTORING 

Supervised practice is offered for The Grand residents who want monitored practice with their bidding and playing skills.

Play is every Wednesday from 9:00 -11:30 AM in the Apache room. 

Experienced SCG Bridge members are there to help with bidding, answering questions, etc. 

After 3 sessions, membership is expected.
