We're pleased to announce starting Monday, March 22nd, the Sun City Grand Board of Directors have approved resumption with strict limitations of the Monday Afternoon, Wednesday Evening and Thursday Afternoon Social bridge games for club members only.
Ultimately, all the other indoor games (canasta, poker, cribbage, dominos etc) could resume when approved by SCG BOD.
There are two very important mandates that must be absolutely observed:
All players must have proof of their completed Covid 19 vaccine regime AND must wear face masks at all times while inside the Chaparral building at the game.  (the detailed mandated BOD guidelines Version 5, March 11, 2021 are available online at
We realize that many of us don't agree with these mandates.  They are not negotiable. Compliance must be 100% or we risk cancellation of your game.  If you do not agree, please for the sake of your fellow members, don't come to the game.
The Bridge Club SCG BOD approval is attached to this email as a PDF and Word Document.
The follow rules are specific to the Monday and Wednesday Evening games

Notes for Resuming Social Bridge beginning March 22, 2021:

  2. Do NOT enter the Apache room until you are told to come in.
  3. Play begins at 12 noon Monday, 6:15 pm Wednesday and 12 noon Thursday.
  4. It is mandatory that you wear a mask, have all your vaccine shots for COVID-19, and bring a signed SCG waiver.
  5. All players must bring proof of vaccine shots, signed SCG waiver, and CAM card. Without each document you will NOT play.
  6. We are limited to fifteen tables. Tables are not to be moved.
  7. You will be assigned a table number when you sign in. The team facing the window/door is stationery.  Decide among yourselves who is stationery.  If someone has a serious need to be stationery, please give them that direction.

  9. Water is not provided.  You may bring your own water bottle.
  10. No food in Apache Room.

Remember, these are startup rules.  They are meant to be strict.  In time they will become more flexible.   Thanks for your kind cooperation.  Have fun and enjoy your bridge!
