| NEW BRIDGE WORKSHOPS - JUNE/JULY 2026 |
The West District is pleased to offer a new series of Bridge Workshops presented by John Di Mambro. These workshops will be run as detailed in the attached document, with a choice of venue (Stirling BC* or Hamilton BC). The format for each workshop will be a one-session interactive presentation followed by playing a set of linked pre-dealt boards. All workshops will start at 10:00am and finish around 2:00pm.
*The Stirling series will be rescheduled for September, while the Hamilton series will start as planned. More information HERE.

| WEST DISTRICT CONGRESS 2026 |
Thanks to all who supported our West District Congress on the weekend of 21/22 March. The winners were -

A big Thank You to Hamilton Bridge Club for hosting the event and providing the catering.

| CBC 2026 BRIDGE FESTIVAL |
The Clyde Bridge Centre are having a Bridge Festival at the end of August for which we are hoping to attract a wide-ranging field from all over Scotland. There will be a two-day open event consisting of Swiss Pairs and Swiss Teams on 29 and 30 August. For details and how to enter see the poster below.

| KELVIN BC CONGRESS |
The Kelvin Bridge Club will be running its inaugural congress in November 2026.
The venue is the Adamton Country House, Baird Road, Monkton, Prestwick, KA9Â 2SQ.

| WESTERN BC CONGRESS |
The Western Bridge Club Congress will be held again in the Stirling Court Hotel (Stirling University Campus) on 26-28 February 2027.
The Congress starts with a Reception at 1800 on Friday and concludes at 1300 on Sunday.
Places are currently available on a first come/first serve basis. The fee for single accommodation is £260 for single and £440 for double, inclusive of play, DBB and a welcome drink on Friday evening.

| CLYDE BRIDGE CENTRE |
Three long-established Glasgow-based bridge clubs (Buchanan Bridge Club, Glasgow Bridge Centre and St Andrew Bridge Club) voted in 2024 to amalgamate to form a new Bridge Club and this has resulted in the Clyde Bridge Centre.
The Clyde Bridge Centre has been formed as a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO), which has been approved and registered under the name The Hillington Bridge Club Ltd, trading as the Clyde Bridge Centre.
The new club is located in Hillington (Glasgow) and is now open for both F2F and online tournaments.
