Learn to Play Bridge
Beginning Bridge Lessons Start Saturday, August 22, 9:30-11:30 am 8-Week Session, $100

Saturday mornings 9:30-11:30 am for mentored play. $10/session. Please carpool.

August 17-22: STaC Week Sectional Tournament at Clubs
Tuesday, August 18: Potluck (Theme: Summertime Favorites) 5:15pm; Game: 6pm
Sunday, August 23: Pro-Am Game
Game start time is 1pm but please arrive by 12:30pm when "Am" players will draw a partner's name.
"Pro" players will be those with over 200MPs.
No sign-up list and no registration for this game. No game card needed for "Pro" players.
August 27: NAP
Wednesday, September 2: (both games): Ronnie Morris celebrates his 80th birthday and will pay the bridge fees for all the players

2026 District 22 Goodwill Ambassador Awards
Bridge is a great game. There are both intellectual and social reasons for this truth.
The most important factor is the quality of people that comprise the membership of our local clubs.
This award is for those individuals who stand because of their kindness and grace at the table.
They are jovial, congratulatory when deserved to the opponents, and self-effacing when they make a good play.
These players are welcoming to newcomers, friendly with peers, and comfortably humble in their own skin.
They may not be the best players or teachers, but they are great to play with or against. These are the individuals for whom this award is created.
Do you have such a person playing in one of your clubs? If so, please nominate them to the 2026 District 22 Goodwill Committee.
This award is for being a quality individual at the club and at the table.
All nominations must include a JPG photo suitable for publication and be returned to me NO LATER than September 30, 2026.
