New Thursday Classes
Ronnie Morris will be offering Thursday afternoon drop-in classes, each day focusing on a specific subject. The classes will start at 4:30 p.m after the Thursday afternoon game and run until 6:00 p.m. Cost for each class: $10. The schedule follows:

Nov 6:     Rules of 7, 11, 17, 22 etc         
Nov 13:   Cue Bids
Nov 20:   Drury
Dec 4:     Doubles - negative, support and takeout
Dec 11:   Bids after opponents NT
Dec 18:   Unusual NT/Michaels
N.B.:  Thursdays at 4:30pm except Dec 11 at 9:30am
  
October, November and December events
Tuesday, October 21, 2025. Third Tuesday night potluck dinner before the 6:00 pm 2500 game. Potluck starts at 5:15 p.m. Theme: Autumn favorites. Spouses/partners/friends are welcome to join us for dinner!
 
Sunday, November 16, 2025. Friendsgiving Potluck Dinner and team parlor games. Bring your favorites TG dish to share with your friends at the Bridge Center—sign-ups on the fridge. Dinner will be followed by team games. Think Taboo, Charades, Password, Pictionary.  Come eat, play, watch, laugh---or any combination thereof. Dinner at 5:00 pm. Games will begin at 6:00 pm. This is not an event where we will be playing Bridge.

Annual meeting. The annual meeting will be held Friday, December 12, 2025 following the Friday afternoon games. It will be a brief business meeting to elect a slate of members for the Board of Directors and for a quick 2025 report. Light refreshments will be served. Please plan to attend.

Coming in 2026
January Social event.  In lieu of a December party when people’s calendars tend to be crowded and many people are traveling, we will have a January social event at a date to be determined. Spouses/partners/friends are welcome to join us!
 

• New Mentor-Mentee program. In January, we will begin a new Mentor-Mentee program. It will be limited to 16 Mentees. First priority will be given to those who wanted to participate in the summer program but could not. If you participated as a Mentee in the summer program, you are ineligible to participate in the Winter program. Applications and details will soon be on the bulletin board.

• 499 Sectional Tournament for non-Life Masters. Date to be determined. It will be held at our Club.

• Sunday glitter points. ACBL has approved the award of glitter points (gold, silver, red) for regularly-scheduled club games held on Sundays in 2026. We will be having some Glitter Sunday games on dates yet to be determined. We will have concurrent Open and 499 games on those dates.
