Mike Sueirro is a retired Navy Commander, having retired from that service in 1991 after 25 years. He went on from there to the information technology industry, eventually retiring from the position of IT Manager for the College of Liberal Arts at Colorado State University. He is a numbers kind of guy, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Colorado as well as a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University. Mike originally learned to play bridge from his in-laws nearly 50 years ago. He took the game up seriously after moving to Savannah from the Mississippi Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina devastated the region. He’s been assisting Veronica or teaching on his own since the summer of 2014. His focus is helping new players learn this great game, as well as helping novice players improve their play and their results.
