Rye Dromana Bridge Congress |
Congratulations and thanks to the many Rye Dromana Members who supported our Congress at Dromana on Saturday 11th March.
It was a very successful day, with 50 pairs participating.
Special Congratulations must go to Phil Douglas and Lucy Zammit who were the best local pair and 8th overall and Penny Van Der Reit and Sue Smith who were placed runners up in the Restricted Section.
A big thank you as well to Jill Page and Geraldine Foote, who agreed to be a standby pair. Unfortunately, they were not needed and had to go out for lunch instead!

HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!!!! |
As many of you know, we were unable to play bridge at the Rosebud RSL this year.
We thought that we had found a new home at the Rye Community House, but after being there this week, we have had to accept that this venue is not suitable for our needs.
CHAPTER 3
We have now found another home- hopefully our forever home for some time.
From Tuesday February 14th, we will be hiring the Capel Sound Community Hall at 20 Eliza Street, Capel Sound.
Eliza Street is off Broadway and the Hall is at the very end of Eliza Street, near a dog park. Lots of parking, easy access and very quiet.
We have had to change the day we have Supervised Bridge from Thursday at 10:30 to Tuesday at 10:30, so we hope this day will suit our loyal Supervised players.
Ted will be sending a group email, notifying all our Members of this change, but if you know anyone who may not have received the email, could you please pass on this information
REMEMBER:FROM TUESDAY 14TH FEBRUARY, WE WILL BE AT 20 ELIZA STREET, CAPEL SOUND.
See you in Capel Sound from Tuesday 14th FEBRUARY.
