In order to start bridge on time players should be seated at the table 10 minutes before the advertised starting time.
This is Important in order for the directors to organise a movement and disribute the cards and bridge mates.
My family and I would like to personally thank the Mornington Peninsula bridge community for all the help and support they have given me over the past twelve months during Brian’s illness.
Bridge meant a lot to Brian and I will be keeping Rye Beach Bridge Club going.
I will miss Mr. 3NT very much as my husband of 51 years and my bridge partner of 20 years (even though he used to get frustrated with my play at times).
I have been experiencing some technical difficulties with the Bridge software, so I ask you all to please be patient for a few more weeks while I get on top of it all.
Also please note the new contact phone number for

It's with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rye Beach Bridge Club Co-Director, Brian Morgan.
Whilst the game of Bridge itself brought Brian great joy, it was the community that he helped to create that he truly cherished.
His family invite you to celebrate Brian's life.

Rye Beach Bridge Club was formed in 2005 by Margaret and Brian Morgan with the aim of increasing the participation of Bridge players on the Southern end of the Mornington Peninsula.
Players of all standards are welcome, preferably with a sense of humour. It is important that players treat both their opponents and their partner with respect.
Duplicate sessions are held at Portsea ( Watson Pavilion) at 9.30 on Monday mornings and at Rosebud Memorial Hall on Thursday afternoons at 1.00. In addition, a fun supervised session is held at Rosebud Memorial Hall on Thursday mornings at 9.30
Importantly, with the odd exception, a partner is not required.
