IMPORTANT NEWS

It has always been the policy of Rye Beach Bridge Club to guarantee everyone a partner.

Unfortunately due to changed circumstances this is no longer possible. You are still welcome to come along without a partner and take 'pot luck' but a partner cannot be guaranteed.

Please contact Margaret by text on 0447 806 699 as early as possible if you require a partner. It is more than likely there will be someone else looking for a game.

A total of S551.00 was donated for the Bush Fire Appeal by members of Rye Beach Bridge Club.

This was given to The Lions Club of Rye as every dollar will go directly to help victems.

The ABF has given 'free' Red Points to any club running a Bush Fire Apppeal.

Consequently if you played bridge at Portsea on Monday 13th January your points will be converted to Red Points.

I would like to thank eveyone who made a donation.

Bushfire Appeal

Rye Beach Bridge Club will be making contributions to the Bush Fire Appeal.

I have donated $200 from table fees this week and have had other donations from members.

I intend making more donations from table fees during January.

The total is around $400 at the moment.

I have decided to avoid the major charities and will be donating  the money to the Rye Lions Club as evey dollar will go the the bush fire appeal.

Thank you to those who have already contributed.
