LEAGUE 3 COMPLETE - PUFF CANDIES WIN FOR A SECOND TIME!
LEAGUE 3 COMPLETE - PUFF CANDIES WIN FOR A SECOND TIME!

In the latest series, Puff Candy people were crowned worthy Friday League Team Champions.  They gained 63.5 victory points from their 7 matches, 3 VPs ahead of second place Edinburgh Rock, who were 1 VP ahead of third placed Jelly Babies.

Edinburgh Rock won their last match strongly to overtake Jelly Babies on the final week.  This was probably due to the E.Rock captain, Rob Hickling, not playing!

Captain Ritchie Adam of the Jelly Babies was quoted as saying "I'm totally gutted we couldn't hold on to our title, but the Jelly Babies will come back and win another day!"

The league was very close, with only 3.5 VPs covering 4th to 8th places.

Watch the website for information on the start of the next League session, which will likely be in 2 or 3 weeks time.  If you would like to play, or put in a new team, please contact us through the website or speak to someone in a team.

The  Autumn Friday Night League   resumes on the 7th January for the final  match of the league. Any postponed matches will be played on the 14th January.

Team captains are invited to the zoom meeting  on the 9th January to discuss arrangements for the  Friday Night League starting in February.

The Official Friday League is open to all members of Russell  House. It is anticipated there will be 10 - 12 teams  playing in the league.  If you wish to enter a team,   you will need a minimum of four players ( a pool of 6-8 players is probably best) and send in the details  as soon as possible.  If you don't have a team but would like to play on your own or with a partner please  contact Raymond or use the Contact Us from the menu .

Captains will be responsible for making  the arrangements  for each match with the captain of the other team, names/BBO user names of the team , who will set up and forwarding the zoom link to their 4 players. All players should be logged on BBO (competitive) /zoom by 6.50pm to ensure the matches are set up successfully. If a player in a team cannot access  zoom then the match will just be on BBO.
