League 3 of Friday Teams will start on Friday 28th January and run for 7 weeks till Friday 11th March. (The 18th March is a reserve date for any matches that are postponed.)
The Official Friday League is open to all members of Russell House. It is anticipated that, in each session, there will be 8-10 teams playing in the league. If you wish to enter a team, you will need a minimum of four players (a pool of 6 players is recommended) and send in the details of your pool of players as soon as possible. If you don't have a team but would like to play on your own or with a partner please contact Raymond or use the Contact Us from the menu.
Captains will be responsible for :
- communicating with their team, and agreeing their team selection each week,
- for each match, communicating with the captain of the other team, to exchange team member names and BBO ids,
- agreeing with the opposing team captain who will set up the team match on BBO.
Captains will receive an email with a Zoom link each week, which they forward to their 4 team match players.
Team match players should be logged on BBO (competitive) and connected to Zoom by 6.50pm, to ensure the matches are set up successfully. (A player does not have to use Zoom, but this is encouraged as it makes for a more pleasant and sociable match.)
