There was no lesson in the half term break, but our two weekly friendly practice sessions went ahead. On Wednesday Morning four tables a variety of Opener's suit rebid hands using a set from No Fear Bridge. These hands always contain some interesting declarer play challenges, we talked about the outcomes on each board.

Opening and rebidding strong balanced hands was the topic on Thursday Morning. Three tables practised a variety of situations, talking about the outcomes on each board.

On Thursday Afternoon six tables played a double Hesitation Mitchell movement. Jane Reed & Christine Greenaway led with 63.33.

The current Champagne Individual Handicap round leading players are Pauline Smith and Lyn Stubbins.

The club plans to run an open Swiss Pairs on June 13th to celebrate its tenth anniversary.
