On Monday Afternoon  six and a half tables played a two-winner Mitchell movement. Graham Clarke & Felicity White got the best North / South result with 65.00; East / West was led by Bill & Lyn Stubbins with 65.71.

Maxine Ross & Terry Leary led a six and a half table Hesitation Mitchell movement on Monday Evening with 60.00.

Out of regular partnerships, this latest event in the Founders Championship pairs competition puts Chris Longthorn & Margaret Aitchison with Kala Chauhan & Wilma Kiernan jointly in the top spot with Geoff Bennett & Mak Kynoch in third. Looks like being a hot contest this year.

On Tuesday Afternoon ten tables played a two-winner Mitchell movement. Brian Jacks & Don Prowse led North / South with 63.39; East / West was topped by Edwige Quick & Sue Robards with 61.01..

Early showers in our summer pairs handicap competition include Brian Jacks & Don Prowse; Margaret Aitchison & Terry Leary; Brian Mawby & David Reed. Only about a quarter of the events played so far.

Take Out Doubles was the topic on Wednesday Morning. Five tables practised a variety of situations, talking about the outcomes on each board.

Fourth Suit Forcing was the topic on Thursday Morning. Eigght players practised a variety of situations, talking about the outcomes on each board.

On Thursday Afternoon five full tables played a three quarter Howell movement. Peter & Vera Iredale led with 60.42.
