Website membership explained
Website membership explained

Most of the features and functions of this website are accessible by anyone. So...why website "membership"?  Simple. We want our players to be able to communicate among themselves on bridge-related matters, like finding partners. while preserving a degree of security over their personal data (e.g., phone number and email address). Here's how it works:

If you are not a member you will not be able to access the member roster, and you will not be able to use the website message board (used primarily for finding partners). You will also not receive email communications from the website regarding future special games and events, game cancellations and other club matters. If you want access to "members-only" website features, or if you want to receive email from the website (and there's not much of it), you should contact the site administrator and ask to be identified as a member.

As a member you can specify the following:

  • Do you in fact want to receive emails from the website?  You can be a member and opt out of emails.
  • If you want to receive emails, do you want to receive them year-round or only May-October (Our special "snowbird" delivery schedule)
  • Do you want to be listed in the member roster?  You can opt out of that as well.
  • If "yes" to the last question do you want your listing to display your email address?  Your phone number?  (Home address is not ever displayed)

Note: When you first attempt to access a "members only" feature you will be required to set a password, and enter it thereafter when accessing "members only" features. If you have problems setting a password please contact Lance Bukoff - lbtcg987@gmail.com, 207.542.4852
