Book Feb (Eve) - Declarer Play Mini Course
Declarer Play 2 week Mini course

 

You are booking for the Declarer Play mini-course which will be held on Thursday evenings at 7.00pm over two weeks on 15th and 22nd Feb. It is intended for those who have completed the beginner's course and want a recap on their existing knowledge as well as to cover a little new ground. This would also be ideal for those attending supervised play, gentle duplicates or Richard's workshops.

The full course (2 sessions) will cost £35 per person if booked at one time. Individual sessions can also be booked at a cost of £20 per person.

The course will be held at the clubhouse and be led by Richard Banbury.

There is no need to have a partner - but of course please feel free to invite someone along as your partner if you wish to build your partnership understanding together

The course will cover the following topics:

 

   Feb 15th        Planning the Play in NT

Keeping and breaking communications, ducking, Rule of 7

Establishing Tricks & Length winners

Unblocking
Feb 22nd Planning the Play in a suit contract

Counting Losers

When to delay drawing trumps

Ruffing with the "short" trumps
