The club is organising a supper and bridge event on 30th May from 6pm

This month we will be trying a Persian menu - from the family run restaurant called "The Cave" near St Margaret's station

They are celebrating their 3rd anniversary this week and we have had several positive reviews from our members

Menu - main course options

ZERESHK POLO VA MORGH (Chicken cooked in tomato sauce with barberries & pistachio)

GHORMEH SABZI (Traditional Persian lamb & herb stew with red kidney beans & sundried lime)

KHORESHT BADEMJOON  (Aubergine based stew cooked with tomato sauce and spices)

All served with saffron rice

Desserts

Bastani (Traditional Persian ice cream with saffron, pistachios & milk)

Faloodeh (Traditional Persian noodle lemon sobert) 

We will have (a) a duplicate for our more experienced members and (b) a separate supervised session for students (please show this on your booking).  The price (incl bridge) is £25 per player for both members and visitors
