Oct 18 and/or 19th - Club Mixed Pairs
Register Interest in Club Mixed Pairs : Oct 18th or 19th

The club is going ahead with its annual Mixed Pairs events in the clubhouse on Oct 18th, Monday Evening and Oct 19th Tuesday Afternoon. These events are normal duplicates open to any club members in a mixed partnership. Table money is the normal £7.

It is NOT essential to pre-book, but we ask players to register below so that we have a guide to overall numbers and can plan accordingly. We will write to all players registered if there are any updates about these sessions.

These two sessions are quite separate - players are entitled to play in one or both - with the same or different partners. The events will be run as single-winner (ie Howell) movements aiming for an all-play-all format as far as reasonably possible. There will be a separate event for an online club mixed pairs championship later in the season.

If there is a half-table, a non-eligible pair may be invited to join the session to avoid a sit out. Such a host pair would not be eligible to win the event, but scores against the host pair will still count towards any eligible pair's final ranking.

Like all clubhouse sessions, masterpoints will be issued and results submitted for NGS.

PS if there are sufficient pairs we will try to run separate events, on a best efforts basis, for any pairs not eligible to take part in the Mixed Pairs sessions.
