Book Intermediate Refresher Online Course (Nov)
Book Intermediate Refresher Online Course (Nov) Form

You are booking for the Intermediate Refresher (Online) Course.

 

This 5 week course will be run online using Zoom and Realbridge.  To give players maximum flexibility to attend, sessions will be on Monday mornings @ 10.30am, and then repeated on Tuesday evenings @ 19:00pm.  The first session will be Monday, Nov 10th, repeated on Tuesday, Nov 11th.  

Each session will be between 2 and 2.5 hours and comprise a mini-lesson on an intermediate topic, followed by discussion on a hand of the week, followed by play on 8 interesting boards.

The course will be led by Tim Chanter and the course fee is £100.  

 

Session Topics

- Nov 10/11th:  Scoring Tactics on partscore boards (Part 1)

- Nov 17/18th:  Scoring Tactics on partscore boards (Part 2)

- Nov 24/25th:  Forcing Defence

- Dec 1st/2nd:  Further Declarer Play, planning in suit contracts

- Dec 8/9th:  Introduction to endplays
