Book Seminar - Jacoby 2NT (14 April)
Book Seminar - Jacoby 2NT

You are booking for a seminar to be run by Richard Banbury at the club on Tuesday evening 14th April at 7:00pm on "An Introduction to using the Jacoby 2NT" by responder.

The seminar will appeal to players who are becoming confident about their bidding and now wish to take things a stage further. Richard will review how Responder can make better use of the 2NT response when Opener bids 1H or 1S, without having to jump to game immediately with game values.

This seminar will look at

(a) better ways for responder to show a balanced 10-12 HCP,

(b) how 2NT is more useful as a convention showing support for Opener's major, and

(c) how to develop the auction afterwards. This also includes the potential for some slam bidding.

NB there are several versions of Jacoby 2NT (and the responses to 2NT) in use at the club.

There is no need to have a partner - but of course feel free to invite someone along if you wish to build your partnership understanding together. The cost is £20.00 (members and visitors)
