Introduction to Transfers

This course is primarily aimed at those who have recently completed the Beginners’ Course, or are regulars at Supervised and/or Workshops, or are returning to the game.  Transfers are an essential tool for players wishing to develop their skills after completing a Beginners’ Course or having developed equivalent skills through play. You are welcome to come as a single player or with your favourite partner (both players should book).

Margaret Page will be leading this 3 week course on successive Thursday mornings on 6th, 13th and 20th November @ 10:00am

  • Week 1 (6th Nov) will introduce the concept of transfers.
  • Week 2 (13th Nov) will move on to more advanced uses of the convention
  • Week 3 (20th Nov) will be a supervised practice session which will give participants the opportunity to play boards illustrating transfer techniques.

The cost of the full course is £44
