Book Sept Mini-Course - Slam Bidding
Book Sept - Slam Bidding Mini course

You are booking for the Slam Bidding mini-course which will be held on Tuesday afternoons at 2.00pm, starting 2nd Sept and run for 3 weeks. It is an intermediate course intended for those who are becoming more confident with their bidding knowledge and now wish to add a few extras to help bid slams more reliably.

The full course (3 sessions) will cost £60 per person if booked at one time. Individual sessions can also be booked at a cost of £25 per person.

The course will be held at the clubhouse and be led by Richard Banbury.

There is no need to have a partner - but of course please feel free to invite someone along as your partner if you wish to build your partnership understanding together

The course will cover the following topics:

Sept 2nd Recap on Opening 2C & responding to it (incl "fast arrival")
How to recognise when a slam might be biddable
Introduction to cue bidding
Sept 9th Roman Key Card Blackwood
Asking about the Queen of Trumps
How to sign off
Sept 16th Splinter Bids
What do they show - and how to develop the auction afterwards
