Welcome to Richmond Bridge Club - England's largest affiliated club
WELCOME TO RICHMOND BRIDGE CLUB
WELCOME TO RICHMOND BRIDGE CLUB

Welcome to Richmond Bridge Club, the most popular and successful EBU affiliated club in the country!  A friendly and progressive club, we are housed in the old Bowling Club Pavilion in Cambridge Park, nestled between Richmond & Twickenham.  Our Clubhouse has multiple playing rooms, teaching facilities and a fully licensed bar.

We offer a range of duplicate bridge sessions every day of the week for players of all abilities - our full schedule of regular events may be found here.

Our Academy offers lessons for new players, beginners and improvers, and seminars for more experienced players. For more detail about the different sessions for novices and improvers, please click here.

The club no longer runs a Thursday morning BBO session due to reduced numbers.

On Saturday 22nd August at 18.00,

we will be organising our next supper and bridge event

To mark the end of the heatwaves (we hope!) this month our supper will be a selection of salads and cold cuts, followed a selection of deserts

As such there is no specific menu, but please sign up below so that we can arrange the catering accordingly

Please let us know of any allergies/food intolerances and if you will be playing in the duplicate or the supervised play section

We will have (a) a duplicate for our more experienced members and (b) a separate supervised session for students (please show this on your booking).

The price (incl bridge) is £20 per player for both members and visitors

Booking now open - Please click HERE to book a place and select a menu option

Rest In Peace
Rest In Peace

Mary Bogue died on 4th August at West Middlesex hospital. She had been a member of the club for many years most recently playing in the Wednesday morning workshops.

She stopped playing at the club earlier this year when she moved into the Dalemead Care Home.

Mary was mother to Liam Bogue, Moira Bogue Flynn, and John Bogue, along with six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She leaves behind a lifetime’s worth of color, creativity and stories in depth and breadth.

Mary absolutely loved to paint and draw; she was amazing at it.

Her paintings found homes all over the world — from Australia to Chile, from England to Canada — carrying a piece of Mary’s talent with them wherever they went.

Mary also loved to play bridge and a member of the Richmond Bridge Club.

Other activities she enjoyed were line dancing and swimming, both of which kept her very active. The grandchildren in the UK often joined her for a swim.

She will be remembered with love and no doubt with many stories — some touching, some funny, and all very Mary.

Her funeral will be held at Mortlake Crematorium on Tues 25th August at 11.20am.

The service will be live streamed. There will be a get together at a local pub afterwards.

Details about any donations will be published when known.

Winners Prizes

Prizes will be awarded to the winning NS & EW pairs in our open or gentle F2F sessions, excluding Sunday cake session. Prize sessions must have at least 8 full tables and only members will be eligible to receive a prize voucher for £7 which will be credited to the member’s account. For Tues/Thurs/Fri Gentle, winners must be NGS <=8. For Mini Swiss and "single winner" movement events, prize vouchers will be awarded to the top two pairs. The players must have played at least 20 boards. Any ties will be split.
