PLAY BRIDGE ONLINE (BBO)
Since the COVID-19 pandemic has forced many of Ireland's bridge clubs into temporary closure, the Regent provides a selection of weekly on-line tournament for MEMBERS, FRIENDS & GUESTS. This can never replace the face-to-face social interaction of the game nor that feeling of 'holding the cards' but it may make enduring this pandemic a little more bearable.
On the menu of this website you will find several useful pages to assist you playing on BBO.
Be sure to search for and follow our BBO HOST, 'RegentMan' - Declan Byrne, Regent Club Manager.

| IMPORTANT BBO INFORMATION |
To play in a Regent tournament (tourney) on BBO
- Login to BBO 15-20 mins before play commences, you must register on BBO to play in each tournament on BBO
- You and your partner must be online at the same time to register so you can invite your partner to play. One player invites the other.
- After you register/enter the tournament do not go wandering around BBO as the tournament may start without you.
- If you do not have a partner you can register at the 'Partnership Desk' (see here).
- During the game players sometimes lose connection, don't worry, you will be re-seated as soon as possible when you're logged back in to BBO.
- We ask all players to show your REAL NAME & COUNTRY (even just your first name) in your BBO profile account as this is the only way for the TD and your friends to recognise you.
- There is a time limit per round, if you do not finish both boards within that time, new opponents and new cards will suddenly appear.
- There is a TD Button in the menu at the top of the table. The CLOCK is located here too.
- If you use the 'CALL TD', be patient as the TD may be sorting an issue at another table.
- Remember Friends are for Life, not just for a game on BBO - be NICE to everyone and ENJOY your bridge at the REGENT VIRTUAL CLUB
