In the plan of how we would celebrate our club's Centenary, the Gala Dinner on next Saturday week is to be the social highlight, to have all the Regent members come together in a way that we cannot within the confines of our own excellent premises. Together with this, it is a chance for your nearest and dearest to meet your fellow members with whom you spend at least one evening a week and who I'm sure you have mentioned at home!  

There is a wonderful atmosphere in the club at the moment and this is an opportunity to cement it into the future.

Thank you to all of you who have booked to attend already; this is a gentle reminder to those of you who have not yet clicked the button, to please do so as soon as you possibly can. We have to confirm numbers attending to the catering staff on Friday 25th - this coming Friday.  

Neither you nor I will be around for the next Regent centenary celebrations so don’t miss out on this one. To use part of the words of Stephen Grellet - "Let me do it now, for I shall not pass this way again"
