The President and members of the Regent Bridge Club wish to offer their condolences to our bridge-playing friends Brendan and Helen Sheridan on the death of their daughter, Carol, who was a member of the Regent before falling ill. In its tribute on behalf of all bridge players, the CBAI remembered her as "a bright, kind, friendly person who made a lovely impression wherever she went and who has sadly been taken way before her time”. Carol was a leading member of Balbriggan Bridge Club and for several years a key member of the team involved in staging the Drogheda bridge congress. |
