Workshop on IMP Scoring and Team Play with Dermot O'Brien |
Halloween Workshop Tuesday 31st October @ 7:30pm
Dermot O'Brien will present our first continuing education workshop on Tuesday 31st October 7:30pm - 9:30 approx. The topic will be IMP scoring and Team Play. When playing IMPs, your score on a contract is compared with the score of the other team who played the same hands. Understanding the difference between Masterpoints or MPs and IMPs will help your bidding and play in competitive situations. All levels of player, including Novices, will find it useful, especially for team play. Participants will get to bid and play some hands on the night.
Dermot O'Brien is a National Master who taught the first cohorts of RUBC graduates in 2011-2012. He is currently Chief Executive of the CBAI and is an excellent teacher.
Advance registration is required. There will be a small charge for the workshop, probably €10 per person. Contact Mary Kane if you have any queries.
