| AGM 2026 |
We had a tremendous attendance t our AGM on September 8th, which marked the start of the new Bridge season. We bid farewell to Owen Hensey, our president for the last year and welcomed incoming president Ciaran Scolard. We also said goodbye to two stalwarts of the committee over the last years - Eimer O'Rourke and Bernie Price. Incoming new committee members Paula Clancy and Simon Burrell were elected with Paula also nominated as incoming Vice President.
Reports from the club secretary (Ide Gavin), Treasurer (Anne Cooke) and President (Owen Hensey) were adopted.

Following a short Q&A session, the meeting concluded with Ciaran making a presentation to Owen in appreciation of his service.

| President’s Prize 2026 |
Three weeks of intense competition culminated in presentation of the President’s Prize in the bar on Monday 25th May. Going into the third night of play, there were several contenders for the top position. Ultimately, Maeve Flanagan emerged as the winner of the President’s Prize 2026. The results were so tight that tie break rules had to be deployed to determine several positions. Congratulations to all the winners and well done to all our members for a well fought and good spirited competition to bring our calendar of major events for the year to a close.
