Table money                       £5/night for PBC members          £6 for visitors

The extra £1 table money for visitors will be waived for players travelling more than 15 miles. Cash only – no tokens.

Players can represent different teams in different events

If you can’t play in both sessions of the 2-session Multiple teams then send reserve(s) or just play in the one you can make.

NATIONAL PAIRS HEAT – Sunday 15^th March 11:00 start

A ‘GREEN POINT’ EVENT

• The National Pairs is one of the EBU’s oldest and most important events, consisting of regional qualifying heats and a national 50 pair final.
• The regional heats in 2020 will take place at several clubs around the country including Preston BC.
• Regional trophies and prizes will be awarded by the EBU to the winners of each of the five regions taking part, for which purpose each region will be scored separately to create a Regional ranking list.
• Green points will be awarded to the top pairs in each session and overall.
• We will be having a playing TD to keep costs down.
• Prizes – we will significantly supplement the EBU prize structure
• The heat will not proceed with less than 8 tables and entries will be closed at 14 tables.
• Free tea, coffee and biscuits will be available until 3pm (self service).
• Bring your own packed lunch – short interval for refreshments.
