- How do I know if my payment was successful?

Apart from the success message you see on the payment website, you will also get an email containing text that looks something like this:

Hi Rajendra,

We have finished processing your order.

[Order #326] (June 2, 2020)

- Tried to pay, failed but amounts deducted for transaction.  Whom to contact?

Amounts deducted for failed transactions will be automatically reversed by Paytm.  If that does not happen contact Kaustubh Bendre (97663-56238). Thanks. But before doing so verify that money had actually gone out of your account and wait for at least an hour to check whether it has been reversed.

Where do I give my BBO id so that I can play in the PRBA pairs?

We collected your BBO id when you bought your subscription.  Once you have done this you do not need to do anything more to be eligible.  Just register yourself and your partner thirty minutes before game time

For the last two weeks PRBA has been running trial online pairs events on BBO every Thursday and these have been hugely successful.  Over 150 pairs participated in the event held last Thursday.  As we had announced when we launched these events, the ultimate plan was to hold these events regularly and charge members a reasonable entry fee for the same. 

We are now ready to launch this full scale and are hereby announcing the commencement of regular PRBA pairs events starting with the first event to be held on June 4th, 2020 at 4 p.m.  We expect to hold two pairs events per week.  These events will generally consist of 20 boards. We will publish the monthly calendar of these pair events.

There will be cash prizes.
We also plan to award masterpoints for the top 20% of the field.  
The subscription amount is Rs. 600 (Rs. Six Hundred only) for a four week subscription.  
Both partners will have to subscribe.
Players need to register upto 12 hours before the start of the tournament.

When you buy this pass, you will be automatically eligible for all PRBA pairs events for the next four weeks. The tournaments will be held online using Bridgebase, the popular online platform that most of our members are familiar with. (Subscribers will have to register for the tournament on BBO 30 minutes before the start.) At the moment we do not plan to take entries for individual pairs events separately.

It may please be noted that the subscription does not entitle subscribers to participate in any team events that PRBA is likely to hold during the subscription period.  

Subscriptions can be purchased online using a credit card, a debit card or UPI through the online portal https://shop.prba.in created for this purpose.  Just add "PRBA Pairs Four Week Pass" to your shopping cart and checkout.  This scheme is only open to PRBA members and any Pune resident desirous of becoming a member of PRBA may do so by paying membership fees of Rs. 500 from the same portal. 

We believe that this is a valuable resource for PRBA members and hope that you will take advantage of this in large numbers.
