This set of web pages are used to highlight forthcoming external tournaments, and to encourage the participation by club members at these events.

External events are categorised (for this site) as those events which take place:

- away from the home club,  or,

- take place at the home club but are organised by third parties (e.g. the Lanarkshire Bridge Association), or,

- simultaneous events which take place within the home club and are also running at the same time across multiple sites, and organised by a third party (e.g. SBU, ECATS...)

Entry to some events is

-  restricted to specific levels of player (e.g.District Master)

-  restricted to  specific categories or groupings (e.g. Bronze, Silver or Gold)

-  not restricted at all, but with prizes allocated to leading players in the different categories (Bronze, Silver and Gold)

-  not restricted

A range of events are addressed, Individual, Pairs, Teams of 4

Initially this set of web pages will be orientated towards players in the Bronze category.
