Improvers Session

An Improvers Session will be held on the last Tuesday of the month with the opportunity to chat about hands and recap topics as requested.  This is to support our newer members but anyone looking for a refresher would be welcome. The club bridge will continue as usual on these nights.

 
Table Money

Please note that from Monday 10th March, table money for all sessions (£2) should be paid on entry by either a Debit or Credit card as cash will no longer be an option. Thank you.
National Individuals

The events below  are National  Individual tournaments.  All players play the same  predefined simple system.

The format has changed this year, in that there is no prequalifying on a cold winter night in Glasgow,  The first 25 entrants qualify directly for the final at the Calton Bridge club in Edinburgh.

Shenkin Trophy Master and Senior Master 25th April Carlton  Edinburgh Online via SBU site A poorly supported event in recent years.  Two Powmill members finished in the top five last year.
Harrison Trophy Scottish Master and above 25th April Carlton  Edinburgh Online via SBU site  
Benjamin Grand Master 25th April Carlton  Edinburgh   Invitational
