A Swiss Pairs event, in Glasgow, for all categories of player with prizes for Bronze, Silver and Gold.
A broad spectrum of levels, from Novice upwards, have played in this event in recent years, Approximately 50 pairs last year.

Scotland wide simultaneous mixed pairs event for all categories. A popular event, and a good entry level opportunity to participate locally in a Sims event. National and local MPs available.

A new National tournament to encourage the uptake of tournament play by Bronze level players.
District heat to be held at the GBC in Glasgow.

| National Mixed Swiss Pairs and Teams 11/12 February |
National Mixed Swiss Pairs and National Mixed Swiss Teams of Four. National event held locally in Glasgow. High quality field with prizes at Bronze, Silver and Gold.

| National Individual Tournaments 22nd April |
The four National Individual tournaments cover all categories of player. Within each category, all players play the same predefined simple system.
The format has changed this year, with the first 25 entrants qualifying directly for the final at the Carlton Bridge club in Edinburgh.
This is an ideal opportunity for players, up to the level of District Master, to play in a closed National ranked event.
