June Birthday Bash

Happy birthday to our players (free plays!) born in June who joined us for the monthly Birthday Bash (2nd Friday of most months):

Celebrating with 21 tables of friends (from left to right):

Robert Reece, Larry Henderson, Tom Ahern, Johanna Thoeresz, Bill Rylander, Vishi Satish, Andrew Zibart and Marty Ashley.

New Novice Game

Starting Thursday April 23, the PBC will be launching a novice game at 11a.

We will play for about 2 hours and then talk about the hands. During the bidding if you are stuck for what to do, you can ask for help and we will be by to help you think about the situation. We won't bid for you, but we will help you with the logic of the situation.

After the session, we'll be able to go over the hands as a group and discuss:

  • Bidding
  • Leads
  • Defense
  • Declarer play
  • Scoring
  • Matchpoints

No partner needed.

ACBL matchpoints will be awarded.

If you are unsure, please feel free to come in and watch to see how it all works.
