Porthcawl and District Virtual Bridge Club

I am pleased to announce the launch of our VIRTUAL club on Monday 6th July 2020 at 6:45pm (please log-on and be present in the tournament lobby 10 mins before). Master Points will be awarded (identical to FtoF club events)

We will continue same time every Monday until further notice.

Thanks to Tony for setting this up on STEPBRIDGE.

If you haven't tried StepBridge yet, there is still time to try - WBU friendly tournaments - Wednesday and/or Sunday nights at 7pm

You first need to register with StepBridge and they will email you a Username.

To help you with your first steps in StepBridge Tony has published a Player's Guide, available at StepBridge User Guide

Also you may wish to see what you can and cannot do on any online club - Online Regulations

(The Club recognises the need to comply with the HSE guidance on the use of (computer) screens. This can be viewed at HSE Rest Breaks.)

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Please look after yourselves during these trying times. If any of you need any help at all, please ring me or any other member of the club. We must all look out for each other.

Let's hope that we'll all be together soon playing this fascinating game!

Meanwhile many of you may wish to continue with your bridge via Stepbridge or BBO (Bridge Base Online). These are free (for most competitions), and very straightforward to use. To assist in your play on either platform, there are  'must read' articles:

StepBridge User Guide;

Playing Bridge On BBO

Keep well and stay safe!
