| Using the Host Facility |
We have had a lot of new members join recently – some of whom do not have a regular partner.
Our Hosting facility is invaluable to these players who want to participate in our Duplicate Bridge games and to meet other members of the club.
The Host is there, primarily to make up a full or half table.
Wherever possible you should arrange to have a partner for our duplicate games – including the Relaxed Bridge session on Wednesday afternoons.
If you are looking for a partner on a regular basis then please get in touch with a member of the committee.
If you do not have a partner on the day, please inform the Director on your arrival. The Director is responsible for organising the tables and will pair up the single players before the Host is asked to play. You must be prepared to play with any other member if asked to do so by the Director.

| Organising Hosting |
A member of the committee is responsible for Host arrangements on a specific day and will ask you to host on a session that you regularly attend.

| Being a Host |
If you are unable to make the date that is proposed, please contact another name on the list you are sent and arrange a swap and amend the master host list on the Bridge Club notice board in the Bridge Room. You can find telephone numbers or send an email from the Members Only area.
On the day,report to the Director who will determine if you are needed, be extra friendly to your partner (they may be a little nervous if playing with someone new) and remember you don’t need to pay for the session.
if you are not needed as a host you receive a voucher for a free session.
Most importantly - Put your hosting date in your diary!
