Peterborough Bridge Club

Mission Statement

The Peterborough Bridge Club provides publicly available opportunities for playing duplicate bridge at ACBL-sanctioned games in pleasant and welcoming surroundings.

            The Club will strive to:

• provide professionally run games in a friendly and comfortable setting

• ensure organizational and financial sustainability

• promote and expand participation in duplicate bridge and player development/improvement

Strategic Goals

• provide a variety of ACBL-sanctioned duplicate bridge playing opportunities at the Peterborough Bridge Club facility for bridge players with a range of playing abilities (from newcomer/novice to advanced level)

• strive for organizational and financial stability to ensure the long-term future of duplicate bridge in the community

• initiate, implement and monitor policies and procedures to effectively fulfil legal, accounting and fiduciary responsibilities

• promote the game of bridge and encourage community engagement through training, media coverage and outreach efforts.
