Perth Bridge Club will be running a Beginners Bridge course starting in September 2024.

Some people who are less experienced with other card games may benefit from Mini-Bridge sessions before they start the course, so the club is running these at 7pm each Monday evening in August.  These Mini-Bridge sessions will be Free of Charge. Please contact the club at perthbridgeclub@gmail.com if you would like to attend any of these.

The course itself will start on Monday 2 September, and will consist of 2 terms of 15 sessions each. Each session will start at 7pm, and will finish by 10pm (and will include a coffee break) The course will be based on the SBU 20 Week Course, but will also include the equivalent of 10 practice sessions. Further information about the SBU course can be found at SBU Approved 20 Lesson Course - Scottish Bridge Union (SBU) A lot of the development of this course was done by members of Perth Bridge Club.

The cost of the Course is £95 per term of 15 sessions (fee waived for people in full-time education). The price includes a year's membership of both Perth Bridge Club and the Scottish Bridge Union, though additional registration processes would have to be followed to trigger this. The normal price of these will be £32 for the 2024/25 year.
