Bronze Rankings
The SBU runs a great variety of tournaments, with trophies, national master points and cash sums up for grabs. Since most members of the SBU are below the rank of Regional Master, these players are catered for with "Bronze" level prizes — either as prizes awarded as part of a wider national event, or in dedicated "bronze only" competitions.
The SBU website has information about the SBU competitions at the following page All about our National Tournaments - Scottish Bridge Union (SBU)
All of these players are eligible to play in these tournaments, usually with prizes for each bronze band:
- Bronze Pairs for the Thea Teale Trophy
- Bronze Teams for the Thea Teale Salver

Bronze 2

Bronze 3
Bronze 3 band is defined as Masters, 1 Star Masters and 2 Star Masters. Typically this covers players who are playing regularly in club tournaments, and may play in occasional National Tournaments. These players are also eligible to play in these tournaments:

Checking Your Ranking
