Starting this THURSDAY 29th APRIL at 6.45 pm we are running an additional weekly pairs tournament on BBO

18 Boards - table fee 3 BBO $

PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE A HOST EACH THURSDAY EVENING 

This will be held within the SBU Virtual Club on BBO

SBU members who are not members of Perth Bridge Club must let us know in advance if you want to play in our tournaments

FRIDAY MORNING BBO TOURNAMENTS

For the past 7 months members of clubs in Perthshire have enjoyed playing in the free online tournaments every Friday morning.  At the beginning of Lockdown these tournaments were established for friends continue to have a competitive game of Bridge in a relaxed atmosphere.

Perth Bridge Club has agreed to take over the running of these tournaments from the end of November.

Due to the contract between the Scottish Bridge Union and Bridge Base Online, all Perth Bridge Club pairs tournament must be played within the SBU Virtual Club environment.

These tournaments will be open to all SBU members who, pre-Lockdown, regularly played in the Perth Bridge Club premises.

If you want to play in these tournaments, you must be a member of the SBU and have entered your BBO username into your Mempad account.

If you are an SBU member but not a member of Perth Bridge Club, you will have to let us know in advance both your real name and your BBO username so that you can be added to the Perth B.C. online list.

The first Perth Bridge Club Friday morning online tournament will be

                                9.15 am Friday 4th December

There will be a cost of 2 BBO dollars per person table fee and we will play 12 boards.

These events are intended to be informal and relaxed

PERTH PAIRS - SBU VIRTUAL CLUB ON BBO

PLEASE NOTE ALL SBU members from 49 King Street are welcome to play  but those from the LEAGUE, Drumhar and LAC who are non-members of PBC must inform Mark Lincoln of their alias so that they can be registered to play in this event

 Perth Bridge Club have now been allocated a slot on the Scottish Bridge Union Virtual Club. 

A pairs tournament will be played every TUESDAY evening starting at 6.45 pm from 28th JULY – the TD will be Catherine Stephen.  24 Boards will be played.  The cost is 3BBO$.  Some of the proceeds of these games will go to the club.   Master Points will be allocated. You require a partner for these events.

To play on the SBU Platform you must be an SBU Member and you must be registered with the SBU.  To register go to your Mempad Account and add your alias. This can be done as follows:

Choose - www.mempad.co.uk – your user name is your SBU MP No – if you have a password log in – or ask for a new password. Once logged in – click on the My Contacts tab at the top then choose edit – near the bottom of the page you can update your details by adding your BBO alias.  You cannot play in an SBU tournament if you have not registered your alias.

To play in an SBU event log into BBO – your partner should be on at the same time - choose virtual clubs in featured areas then you scroll down until you see SBU Scotland – click on that and there you will find our code SBU_C_PER

click on this – you will be asked to invite your partner – once they accept, that is your partnership registered for that evening – you will have to repeat this each week.  It can be done up to 2 hrs before the event.
