Thank you for visiting our site. We should like you to look around and learn more about our club. You will find details of future events, results of our competitions and weekly matches, and news of interest to not only our members but to site visitors generally.

We hope you like what you see and that we will shortly be playing on line bridge with you at the club!  See below for details.

From its earliest days of Face to Face the club has had a reputation for friendliness where visitors and members are provided with a first class facility for the game of duplicate bridge to be played in a safe, comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. The club informs and encourages novice players whilst stimulating the more experienced. We aim to complement other  local community activities by being an inclusive Club where players of all abilities are made welcome and can join.

The Club is affiliated to the English Bridge Union via the Worcestershire Contract Bridge Association and participates in the EBU Masterpoints scheme and adheres to the EBU code of Best Behaviour. We now play RealBridge on line on Wednesdays and Fridays,  Please scroll down for more details and see opposite for details of times. For those wishing to improve their game we hold our own ad-hoc short courses tailored to needs and can recommend external seminars on specific advanced topics held by expert players.  

The Club is a charity in line with Para. 1 of Schedule 6 Finance Act 2010; HMRC charity reference EW41010

We currently play every Wednesday and Friday on line using RealBridge. We want to actively encourage the inexperienced and experienced to play and even partner each other. Everyone must be friendly and we hope that calls to the Director to rule on the Laws are infrequent but of course should this be needed, please do so in a very amicable way with your opponents.  Please be very tolerant of improvers who make innocent mistakes; misbid or fail to alert.  We are here to play a GAME!!  Live and let live. 

Players should click here PDBC GUIDE TO REALBRIDGE and have tested their camera and microphone prior to playing.  Table money is £1-25 for members and £2-50 for returning visitors (first visit is free). Payments must be made in advance.  If you are not in credit prior to an event your scores for that event will be removed from the result until payment is made.   Click HERE for more information on how to pay. 

Login to RB from 6.30pm. Please be seated by 6.40pm. Matches will start prompt at 6.45pm.
