Cost is $10 for PBC members and $11 for non-members, players under 25 are always free.

The First Colony Clubhouse will be used by the Red Cross for a blood drive on the following dates:

On these dates, the bridge game will be held at PBC Hampton and the game will start at 11:00 AM..

| 2026-2027 North American Pairs (NAP) (50% Black & 50% Red MPs) |
NAP PBC Club-level Qualification games are here
During the months of June, July and August, the PBC Bridge Club will be holding NAP club qualification games. Club qualification games award extra masterpoints, allocated as 50% red / 50% black. Players first play at the club level to qualify to compete in the District NAP Finals where they play for the opportunity to earn subsidies to compete in the NAP National Finals to be held at the 2027 Spring North American Bridge Championships in Dallas, TX.
There are three stages of play: (1) Club Qualifying, (2) District Finals, and (3) National Finals.
PBC Club NAP Qualifying games in August: 8/7, 8/8, 8/11, 8/17, 8/18, 8/24, 8/31. NAP games earn 50% black and 50% red MPs.

| Beginner/Intermediate Lessons |
**Update** Chuck Sadowski has a beginner/intermediate class on Sundays 2:00-5:00 pm at the PBC. Next class is on September 6th. Cost is $10. Snacks will be provided. If you plan to attend, PLEASE send Chuck an email (ccsadowski1@cox.net) so that he can make enough copies of the lesson and provide enough food!
Bob Burgess conducts lessons on Mondays at the PBC at 10:00 am prior to game time.
Jim Davis is offering free beginner bridge lessons on Wednesdays at the Courthouse Way Community Center, 14302 Old Courthouse Way, Newport News, 10:00am - 1:00pm. Jim has been teaching bridge for many years in a relaxed and friendly style. If you have questions, Jim's email is bdavis143@cox.net.
