Welcome to PBC Bridge Club

PBC Bridgemate Update coming March 2nd

A request to discontinue the real-time viewing of competitors’ scores after each board is played was presented to the PBC Board of Directors.  The request noted that loud reading of competitors’ scores during play could be overheard by other tables resulting in unfair play.   A motion to discontinue real-time viewing of competitors’ scores was presented, seconded, and adopted by vote.

Starting on March 2nd, the PBC Bridgemates will have restricted (or disabled) real-time viewing of competitors’ scores.  All of the competitors’ scores will be available for viewing as usual at the end of each game.

Changes to Game Fee at PBC

Beginning August 1, 2025 the card fee for regular open games will continue to be $10 for members, $11 for non-members up to 10 minutes before scheduled game time.  That would be 10:50 AM for daytime games at the PBC.
Card fees paid after the 10 minute mark will be $12 for members, $13 for non-members. Note that the player does not have to be present until scheduled game time, but payment must be made before the 10 minute mark to avoid the surcharge.

Players not ready to play at scheduled game time are subject to matchpoint penalties at the director's discretion.
