1NT doubled and how to escape / respond

A double over opener’s 1NT shows a strong hand and is a Penalty Double meaning: “I don’t think you will make 1NT and I am doubling you for penalties”.  We will look at examples and responses and play prepared hands.

Just come along, with or without a partner.  No need to book and no charge.  At Paihia War Memorial Hall from 2pm to 4pm.
