Oxshott Bridge Club are running some new sessions known as

GENTLE DUPLICATE.

These sessions are for novices who have received some tuition and are looking to move on to a club bridge.   

Our sessions are around 15 hands of normal duplicate.  We will use Bridgemates for scoring and a screen to display results during play.  We will offer assistance from more experienced players for difficult hands and there may be a brief break mid-way when the chairman will give a quick talk on topics of interest e.g. Club etiquette, the role of the director and similar (we hope) useful information.  Oxshott hopes that it will help novices to make a less painful transition to regular club play.  If you know of any player who might be interested, we would be very happy for them to join in.  It will be a friendly, informal session with tea/coffee/biscuits provided, maybe even cake!

We have booked the hall at Oxshott Village Centre for Monday afternoons starting at 1.30pm.
