THE OTFORD CUP, donated by John & Christianne Gallagher, is the Club’s oldest and most prestigious trophy for pairs.  It is awarded to the pair who achieve the highest average percentage over any 12 events during the year.

THE GRAY TROPHY, donated by Graham Ford and Ray Lawrence, is awarded to the pair who achieve the highest average handicap result over any 12 events during the year but cannot be won by the winners of the Otford Cup.

THE GWEN BRAY CUP, donated by Gwen Bray, is played on the 3rd Friday in October and goes to the pair who wins that evening.

TREASURER'S TROPHY, donated by Mike Bennell, is awarded to the member who achieves the highest average of the sum of topmost percentages, scored with each of 6 different partners, in either direction, in any pairs event of 5 or more tables, during the calendar year.

GRAHAM & SALLY FORD SALVER, donated by Graham and Sally Ford, goes to the player who scores most EBU Local Points at the Club during the year.

IMPROVER’S CUP, purchased with Club funds, is awarded to the person whose average percentage rises most between last year and this.  To qualify the winner has to have played at least twelve times in each of the relevant years. The Cup is only open only to members whose average, in the earlier year, was below 50%.

In addition there will be 2 additional external annual competitions, namely the Children In Needs Simultaneous Pairs and the first heat of the KCBA Larsky Cup.  However, these will also be treated primarily as Club Duplicate Pairs and will qualify for all the Club competitions above. … NB all the above trophies can only be won by members who have played at least 12 times in the previous 12 months.
