Ormiston Bridge Club

2. |
Objects |
To promote the playing of bridge and enhancement of playing standards to its Members. The Club will be non-political and non- sectarian
|
3. |
Membership |
Membership of the Bridge Club shall be open to all and any application for membership will not be unreasonably refused by the Club. Applications in writing should be made to any one of the Office Bearers or any Club Member. Membership will be paid through annual or temporary subscription
|
4. |
Subscription |
The annual and temporary subscriptions will be determined at the AGM
|
5. |
Officers |
The President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and Director will be elected at the AGM or at an EGM. They will retire annually but will be eligible for re-election. The Past President will also serve on the Committee for one year

6. |
Committee |
The Committee will consist of the officers of The Club.
The Committee has powers to co-opt other members of The Club to the Committee. Three Committee Members will form a quorum
|
7. |
General Meetings |
The Annual General meeting will be held on any Monday before 30th May
|
8. |
Finance |
All monies received by The Club shall be applied to
further the activities of The Club unless otherwise agreed by Members
|
9. |
Constitution |
The Constitution can only be amended at the AGM or an EGM
|
10. |
Dissolution |
A resolution to dissolve The Club can only be passed at the AGM or an EGM. In that event the assets of The Club will be given to a designated bridge organisation or Charity chosen by the Members.
