Bridge in the Barn at Fuchsia Lane Farm |
A Tranquil Haven for Bridge Enthusiasts
Declan Byrne Bridge members met recently for a weekend of social bridge at Fuchsia Lane Farm, Terryglass, Tipperary.
Bridge was played in a converted haybarn which was an excellent hub for our club gathering. The spacious and well-lit playing area was equipped with a smart TV, wifi and comfortable tables and chairs for bridge.
Nestled amidst the picturesque village of Terryglass, Fuchsia Lane Farm is an absolute gem for aficionados of country side strolls or a dip in the river Shannon (if you're brave enough). This charming venue, with its beautifully renovated self catering farmhouses, offers a unique and idyllic setting that combines the warmth of rustic elegance with the strategic thrill of bridge.
The moment we arrived we were warmly greeted by fellow member Inez Heenan and her husband Niall (owners) and Jessie, the family collie. The renovated farmhouses, seamlessly blending modern amenities with the charm of yesteryear, add a touch of nostalgia to the overall experience. Whether you're a seasoned bridge player or a casual enthusiast, Fuchsia Lane Farm promises an unforgettable and enriching experience.
It's not just a venue; it's a destination where the love for bridge is celebrated amidst the tranquility of the countryside and the charm of lovingly restored farmhouses. If you're looking for a place where the joy of the game meets the beauty of nature, Fuchsia Lane Farm is your ideal spot for your next bridge club trip away.
