Beginners Term 1
Monday 10:30am - 12:30pm

Suitable for complete beginners with no prior knowledge of bridge.

Introduction to the game of bridge; Introduction to the ACOL bidding system. Introduction to Club Bridge & Online Bridge; Mini-Bridge, Bridge Scoring; Beginners Bidding & Play; Bridge Hand Evaluation; Opening Bids; Partner's Responses, Basic Card Play and More.

 

 

NEW COURSE for IMPROVERS - It's Time To UP Your Game 
Monday 2:00pm - 4:00pm

Suitable for Intermediate B & A players that want to look beyond opening and responding bids and progress to better contracts with confidence.

Defence, Negative Doubles, Cue bidding, 2 Suited Overcalls, Introduction to Strong No-Trump (15-17) & 5-Card Majors and more.

 

Improver - Next Steps (Level 3)
Tuesday 10:30am - 12:30pm 

Suitable for Novice & Intermediate 'B' players that want to learn more and improve their bidding beyond the first round.
Reverse bidding, Bidding strong hands, Bidding weak hands, Tools for Slam bidding and much more.

 

Improve Your Declarer & Defender Play
Tuesday 2:00pm - 4:00pm

This course has a wide range of appeal and is suitable for progressive novice, improvers and some intermediate players. It's a bid & play styled course with a short lesson followed by play with guidance and discussion.

 

Private Sessions are available to book (2-4 players)
Thursday (9:30am to 4pm)

Looking for help with a particular convention, bidding method or do you fear playing in No-Trump? Book a private session to receive personal attention for up to 2 hours. Cost per table €120. Contact Declan directly to book your private session(s).
