NORTH EAST BRIDGE CONGRESS 2026

This event is being organised by Oliver Cowan Events on behalf of and in partnership with the NEBA, at the lovely Blackwell Grange Spa Hotel. This venue provides an excellent, friendly setting for this congress and whether you want to come for just 1 day or both, there will be something to suit everyone!
28th November 12:00-19:00 – Green Point Swiss Pairs (7 x 7 board matches)
29th November 11:00-1800 – Green Point Swiss Teams (7 x 7 board matches)
Entry fees (per person) £35 each day or £65 for both days including parking at the venue and tea/coffee/sweet treats throughout. There will also be a prize fund.
Soup & Sandwich for lunch £10 and a 2 course roast on Sunday is £25 (must be pre-booked). To book a bedroom, please contact Oliver on details below. Rooms are £129 per night single occupancy or £139 for double/twin.
9 High Relaxed Pairs – 1-5pm on Saturday 28th November
On Saturday 28th November at 1pm there will be a Relaxed Pairs played over 24 boards with a tea break half way through and this event will finish by 5pm. Entry is just £15 and as well as a prize for the winners, there will be a prize for the best pair from any club that has 4 pairs taking part!
