The National Teams weekend is a new event, taking place at the Leonardo Hotel in Milton Keynes on the weekend of the 27th and 28th February. It is licensed by the English Bridge Union and players will compete for the Susanna Gross Trophy, sponsored by the Spectator magazine.

Saturday 12pm-7:30pm.

Sunday 11am-6pm

Both days are Green Pointed.

Saturday will see all teams taking part in one of 4 pools, playing all other teams in the pool in short head to head matches with each match score converted to VPs.

Top 2 from each pool will qualify for an all play all final on Sunday and all other teams will be entered into the B Final, a Swiss Teams consisting of 7 x 7 board rounds.

There is lots of very cheap parking around the hotel but the hotel itself does not have a car park and the venue is less than a 1 mile walk from Milton Keynes Central Train Station. Tea & coffee are will be included throughout the bridge as well, of course, as the pick n mix sweets! There will be food available for purchase at the hotel.

Entry fees per player to cover both days

£130 (reduced to £125 if paid by 30th September)

Accomodation per night (Friday and Saturday) is £90 for a single occupancy room or £100 for a double or twin room - please include bedroom requirements on the entry form and add payment when making your entry.

There will be a pre-event dinner at the venue on Friday evening - 3 course meal for £35 and the pools for Saurday will be drawn at the meal.
