LANCASHIRE CONGRESS 2024

Barton Manor Hotel & Spa, Preston 16^th & 17^th November 2024

Following the success of last year’s event, this congress is again being organised by Oliver Cowan on behalf of and in partnership with the LCBA, at the fabulous Barton Manor Hotel & Spa.  This venue provides an excellent, friendly setting for this congress and whether you want to come for just 1 day of bridge or if you want a full weekend package including spa access this event will have something to suit everyone!

Saturday 16^th November – Green Point Swiss Pairs (11:00-18:00)

Sunday 17^th November – Green Point Swiss Teams (11:00-18:00)

Entry fees per £35 per player for 1 day or £65 if playing 2 days including parking at the venue and tea/coffee/sweet treats throughout. There will also be a prize fund.

Players can pre-book a 2 course meal each day for £20 per day – this will be served after match 3. Players are welcome to bring their own food but this must be consumed in the playing room and NOT in public areas of the hotel.

On Sunday 17^th, there will also be a Relaxed Pairs event (players no higher than NGS 10) from 13:30-17:30 with a short break – entry fee of £15 per player including tea/coffee

For those who wish to stay at the hotel, bed & breakfast rate is £110 (single) or £120 (double/twin) per night. Oliver will be taking a small group for dinner on the Friday & Saturday evening at local restaurants – please get in touch to be included in either/both of those meals.
