National Inter County Teams Finals - B Teams win their Final

The Oxfordshire B and C teams having both won their divisions of the Midland Counties Leagues, and qualified to play in the Inter-County Leagues Final against the winners of the B and C team leagues from the other regional county leagues that take place across the country.  This event took place on 24 June near Coventry, and the selectors invited the following players to represent the county:

Oxfordshire wins two Dawes (Midlands) League titles!

With good results in the final rearranged match against Gloucestershire on Sunday 18 March, Oxfordshire's B-team won the Porter Trophy (5 VPs clear of Glos) and the C-team chalked up another Markham Trophy triumph, having won all seven games in the 2017-18 season. Congratulations to all the players who represented those two teams during the season. They qualify to represent the Midlands in the Inter-County League Finals this summer.  The A-team finished 6th in the Dawes after a 4-16 loss to Glos. Results of county match v Derbys (18 Feb 2018)

In the match against Derbyshire on Sunday 18 February, the Oxon A-team lost 2-18, the B-team lost 9-11, while the C-team won 11-9 to maintain its excellent chance to win this season's Markham Trophy.

The teams selected for the home match against Gloucestershire on Sunday 10 December at the Oxford Bridge Club, starting at 2.00pm. are as follows:

 Oxfordshire team wins Group B at the Tollemache Qualifier

The EBU’s main inter-county event took place on 18-19 November in Solihull. For the 2nd year running, Oxfordshire topped its group and so qualified for the final in February. Oxon scored 100 VPs with Lancashire 2nd on 98 VPs, Avon 3rd on 94 VPs and top seeds Middlesex 4th on 90 VPs. Oxfordshire team results from county match v Nottinghamshire (10 Sept 2017)
