| Presidents Cup 2024-2025 |
You are invited to play in the OBA Knockout Teams this year (Green Pointed). The OBA Competitions committee met recently and to try and increase the number of entries for the Presidents Cup, decided to offer discounted entry to teams who have not played in this competition for the past two years (£20 per team).
We plan to run a Presidents Plate as well (teams that lose their first round match, play in this), so all teams get at least two matches. This event is suitable for players of all standards. We encourage you to enter, only £5 per player for new teams, £7 per player for other teams.

Matches in the initial matches to reduce down to 8 teams (Triangle Matches) are of 24 boards. From round of 8 teams matches are of 32 boards played in 4 x 8-board stanzas, (final of 48 boards). Any queries to Sandra Claridge sclaridge31@gmail.com, 01844 208629. The norm / default in the Presidents Cup is to play matches on RealBridge. But the two captains can agree to play F2F or on BBO.
All players entering must have Primary Allegiance to Oxfordshire. Players can check using NGS (ebu.co.uk). If you are not OXF and wish to be, simply ring the EBU and ask them to change you to OXF.
The winners will represent Oxfordshire in the Pachabo Cup to be played on 14th/15th June 2025 in Milton Keynes. Level 4 conventions may be played.
